He said that the nation’s Muslim population will not be intimidated into abandoning Islam following coordinated bomb and gun attacks on the city’s central mosque that left at least 120 people dead

He said: “We will never be intimidated into abandoning our religion, which is the intention of the attackers,”

Emir paid a visit to the affected mosque after his arrival from Mecca yesterday and spent 20 minutes to see the scene of the sad event."From all indications, they (attackers) have been planning this for at least two months. I have directed that the mosque be washed and cleaned and prayers should continue here.We will never be intimidated into abandoning our religion, which is the intention of the attackers" he said..... David Beckham was involved in car crash........

David Beckham has been involved in a car crash which led to the female driver of another vehicle being taken to hospital.

Police would not confirm the ex-England captain, 39, was involved in the crash in London Colney, Hertfordshire, on Saturday, but said a grey Audi RS6 had collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.

The male driver of the Audi was slightly injured, they said.

The Telegraph said Beckham's son Brooklyn was in the car at the time.

His Royal Majesty,the Alake of Egbaland ,  Alayeluwa Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo was born on 14 September 1943, and is from the Laarun Ruling House. He is a grandson of the sixth Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo, who ruled from 1898 to 1920, and is a nephew of Oba Gbadebo II.He attended the Baptist Boys’ High School in Abeokuta, then went on the University of Ibadan in 1965, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969. He joined the army in 1969, and attended the Command and Staff College, Jaji from September 1978 to August 1979. Gbadebo eventually became a Principal Staff Officer to Major-General Tunde Idiagbon, the Chief of Staff at the Supreme Headquarters, Dodan Barracks, from January 1984 to September 1985. He retired from the army as a Colonel.

Oba Gbadebo became the Alake of Egbaland in August 2005.

Mike Nicholas the entertainment legend is dead..

Mike Nichols, the entertainment icon whose work has graced screens and stages for decades and decades, has passed away.

Our source reports that Nichols died suddenly on Wednesday at the age of 83. No cause of death was mentioned.

Indeed, Nichols’ career was vast and varied, winning an Academy Award for directing Dustin Hoffman in 1968′s “The Graduate.” He also helmed “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf?,” “The Birdcage” and “Closer,” among others. Other achievements include the Emmy-winning “Angels in America,” the Tony-winning revival of “Death of a Salesman” in 2012, and a 1961 Best Comedy Performance award at the Grammys for “An Evening With Mike Nichols.” May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Kenyans took to the streets of Nairobi on Monday to send a message to men: Stop attacking women because of the way they dress.

The protests followed the latest incident of a woman stripped naked in the capital by a group of men who accused her of "indecent" dressing. The attack captured on video last week prompted outrage on social media under the hashtag #mydressmychoice.

Protesters marched through downtown carrying placards that read "My dress, my choice" while others donned mini-skirts, the same attire the unidentified woman wore when she was attacked. Some men wore dresses to show their support.

Others joined the march to rally against the protests, chanting "don't be naked" and "wear clothes."
